April 2017 Newsletter
Gardens are open!
The gardens are officially open from 1st April and our spring garden is looking particularly lovely this year.
Another date for your diary is the April 9th.  As I am sure you already know we hold a number of ‘Special Sunday Open Days‘ every year and we kick off our season this year on April 9th.   During these open days  we host a number of free events over the course of the day.
On the 9th there will be the following events:
2pm : The popular ‘walk and talk’ class with Jimi on his 25 best plants for the month of April with a focus on spring/woodland/shade loving plants

3.30pm: Professional photographer Bernard van Giessen will give an hour long tuition on garden photography. If you ever visited the Hunting Brook website, you will have come across some of his images.
During the mini-workshop Bernard will explain how some of these images were created. The secret of good garden photography is: get up early, know your vantage points and be ready to shoot. Garden Photography is all about patience, light and an acute understanding of composition.

Our tea room will be serving delicious home baked goodies, do feel free to bring a picnic and the garden is open from 11 until 5.30.

No extra charge for events and no need to book a place – just turn up.
Adults €6, Kids Free
