Volunteering at Hunting Brook

New this year at Hunting Brook is our volunteer program. Volunteers work with Jimi in the garden under his direction and are involved in record keeping of the plant collection; seed sowing; maintenance and planting within the existing gardens; and development of the new garden areas, including construction of paths and seating and the planting of new areas of the woodland garden. This is a great opportunity to get some fresh air and great exercise in the beautiful surrounds of Hunting Brook and the Wicklow Mountains (beats a gym membership!) while gaining knowledge and experience amid Jimi's fabulous collection of rare plants. Hours are flexible and will be arranged to suit your schedule, where possible. Perks of volunteering also include free entry to the gardens throughout the year, 20% discount on any courses taken and free admission to the 'Let's Talk Plants' evenings.
