This workshop is suitable for both beginners and advanced photographers. Topics include composition, light, macro techniques and general camera settings. This hands-on workshop is designed to improve your existing camera skills and to strengthen your visual awareness. Whether you have a top of the range DSLR, or a camera phone, you are guaranteed to go home with some new skills and inspiration.

The program:

09.30 – 10.00 Coffee/tea

10.00 – 12.30 Camera settings, composition, light

12.30 – 13.30 lunch + review of the morning session

13.30 – 16.00 Macro + flower photography

16.00 – 16.30 Q & A

The venue:

Hunting Brook is the perfect venue to practice your photography skills. Its beautiful setting in the Wicklow hills, combined with its countless beautiful flowers and plants, as well as a lush woodland garden, will provide the perfect backdrop for a day full of learning and enjoyment.

You need: your camera, empty memory card, USB, fully charged battery, rainwear (just in case), good footwear and a packed lunch. Coffees and teas can made in the classroom.

There is limited availability for this event. Course fee €45pp. A deposit of €20 is required to secure your place. Payments by cheque, cash or by EFT by the 10th of May.
