Monday 15th April 2024 & Wednesday 3rd July

Full day - 10.15am – 4pm

This Day long hands-on workshop will cover many techniques of propagation of a wide variety of

different plants.

The focus of the workshop

• Seed collecting, storage, treatment of seed, methods of sowing, methods of germination and after

• care

• Cuttings – Softwood, basal, root cuttings

• Division of perennials, grasses and bamboos

• Propagation compost mixes and compost used for aftercare of the plants

• Using a propagator for propagation

Participants will take home lots of seeds, cutting and divisions to grow on in your own garden

Fee covers all supplies and materials plants, seeds, cuttings that are needed for the workshop

Participants can choose to bring their own personal seeds and plants also if they want to learn how to propagate them

Tea/coffee, biscuits and cake included

Please bring your lunch, secateurs

Class size is limited so early booking is essential
